Goals. I love goals.

I have always liked having a goal.  I need something to work towards.  I need a finish line.  This is one of the main reasons I don't like to play Minecraft with the boys...but that is another discussion. for another blog   : )

So my BIG goal for this year is...well, big.  I set it in 2013 when I started the company.  I still have the post-it note.  2014 - $200K.  2015 - $400K.  2016 - $600K.  $2017 - $800K.  And...2018:  $1 million.  So here it is.  2018.  And I need to make $1 million in revenue.

So how do I get there?  Well, I am using the plan from this book - https://12weekyear.com/  You may have heard about 90 day goals, 3 month goals, etc.  Basically you break down a big goal into smaller goals and work each goal for 3 months (or the in case of the book, 12 weeks.)  It is much more manageable and much less daunting.  And you can rejig things after (or during) the 12 weeks if it is not going as planned.

Will I make $1M in revenue this year?  I am not sure....but I am trying.  I am behind from last year so it is quite the leap.  I have hired our first Sales Director and I am focusing on the website.  We have a few large deals that should happen this year.  And I am going on QVC this Fall (another post).   We will have a very busy 3rd and 4th Q.

Do you have a goal for this year?  If not, it's not too late to set one.  Think big!

Have a great week!
