October to December 24th is a blur most years. October is our busiest month as stores begin to stock up for the holidays and then there are gifts, gifts and more gifts in November and December. We produce a lot of our 3 oz. snack packs (thank you Liz and team)…which are cute and adorable…but time consuming to bag by hand.
And of course, there are a ton of school activities, Halloween and Thanksgiving, and then the mad rush to our Christmas/Holiday Break (limping, really, at that point.) Then we sigh a big sigh of relief and have a week or two off at the end of the year with just a small crew coming in to ship last minute orders.
So…October 5th. Time to get organized for the rest of the year. We have a big goal for this year and it looks like we really need to hussle if we are going to meet that goal. So I will be working on that this weekend, along with reviewing this great article from Shopify:
It’s a checklist to get ready for Black Friday/Cyber Monday, etc.
I will talk more about our plans and strategies over the next few months. Already on my TO DO list - look for the Christmas and Holiday cards from last year and then order more (we start using those the day after Thanksgiving and ship with all orders through mid-Jan.) I also need to order more of the USPS free boxes…we always run out.
You? Are you making plans?

Have a great weekend!
